ALBUM COMING SOON!!!

By Eric Farber Directed by Mia Rovegno An experimental opera presented in the streets and public parks of New York City. April 15, 2033 - New York City. Space Admiral Mira Clemente has just landed back to Earth after a 15 year solo space mission. The world has changed a great deal since Mira’s launch in 2018. Overrun by truth discrepancies and near-facts, the America of 2033 is drowning in the fiction it sells to itself. Ever since her 7th grade obsession with Albert Einstein, Mira has dreamed of exploring the immense unknown all alone. 30 years later her friends from middle school have dusted off their old marching band instruments and are reuniting to throw Mira a homecoming parade through their old neighborhood. But the parade is not what it seems. And Mira’s return home will cause her to doubt everything. Music direction by Freddy Epstein Sound design by Stowe Nelson Dramaturgy by Jacob Marx Rice Featuring: Starr Busby, Marisa Clementi, Freddy Epstein, Eric Farber, Kristine Haruna Lee, Storm Thomas, Clyde Daley, Dan Dunford, Brama Sukarma, Matthew Cain Made possible with development from: Fresh Ground Pepper through the 2018 Playground Playgroup The Center for Morale, Welfare & Recreation through the 2017 Governor's Island Residency Eric Farber is a Brooklyn-based percussionist and theater artist. Eric's “wildly animated” performance and "positively gasp-worthy" percussion design have been featured in The Foundry Theatre’s Good Person of Szechwan (Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Music in a Play – Public Theater, LaMaMa); FUTURITY (Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Set Design, Lortel Award: Outstanding Musical, OBA Award: Best New Musical – ARS Nova/SoHoRep, Mass MoCA, Walker Art Center/A.R.T.); The Skin of our Teeth (TFANA); Animal Wisdom (Bushwick Starr); The Infinite Hotel (Prototype). Eric is currently developing The Parade Ground - an outdoor marching band opera staged in the streets of New York. MFA: Bard College; BA: The New School University. A member of The Lisps since 2006. www.kineticontology.com video shot and edited by Julia Ross audio mastered by Dan Dzula logo by AK Hanrahan
